Can you trade pokemon with pokemon diamond and pokemon platinum?

I have a friend that has pokemon platinum and he has shaymin's sky form on it! I wanted to know if it's possible for us to trade pokemon from his pokemon platinum to my pokemon diamond because I want shaymin's sky form on my pokemon diamond game!Can you trade pokemon with pokemon diamond and pokemon platinum?

you cant get the new rotoms,shaymins or giratinas on your diamond

they have to stay on platinum

if you trade them over

you loose there special item and the trun back to normal forms

Yes, u can I know it hasen't come out yet but on wiki witch is usually true and this time it is. There will also be new forms for Giratina (mascot form) Reggigigas (sky form) Shaymin (sky form).

yes, just like diamond and pearl, it can be traded from the same ds generation

Pokemon Diamond and Platinum are both from the 4th Generation, so of course!



I'm assuming your friend is using a Japanese Pokemon Platinum. Otherwise, your friend has a hacked game.



If you want the Sky Forme of Shaymin, make sure it is holding the Glacedia flower, which is found in Floaroma Town in Platinum.
