Is there a way to increase the chance of finding shiny pokemon in pokemon diamond?

I saw that if you put a internation pokemon and nation pokemon in the daycare increases the chance of finding shiny pokemon in platinum. Does it work in diamond or is there any other way?Is there a way to increase the chance of finding shiny pokemon in pokemon diamond?
The chaining and Masuda methods work, but they have downsides. Chaining can be very difficult to master and Masuda doesn't let you pass down natures with an everstone. Is there a way to increase the chance of finding shiny pokemon in pokemon diamond?
if you want to find shiny pokemon you can use the poke radar to chain pokemon this is the proper way to find shiny pokemon,if you dont know how to chain i suggest you wath this video:

p.s it really does work i have 9 boxes full of some of the rarest shinies in the game (but then again i am pro at chaining)Is there a way to increase the chance of finding shiny pokemon in pokemon diamond?
yes it works in Diamond,Pearl and Platinum

You can also try using the poke-radar by making chains (fighting) the same pokemon over and over also increase your chances of seeing that pokemon shiny, after fighting the same pokemon over 40 times you will increase you chances of finding a shiny but both are very difficult

I breed a JP ditto with a american gyrados and after hatching 3 boxes full of magikarps i got a shiny one
Chaining is one of the best ways to catch a shiny pokmeon. Chaining is using the Pokedar, which you get after beating the Elite Four. You use it to find and fight the same pokemon over and over by entering grass patches four away which shake the same way. It is also the easiest way to get a shiny pokemon since the chances of getting a shiny once you have successfully chained up to 40 of the same pokemon increases dramatically compared to the normal chances. Instead of a 1/8192 chance, it becomes a 1/200 chance of finding a shiny.

If you are a beginning chainer, I would recommend chaining swarming pokemon, since they are very easy to chain. Also, if you want an electric type, put a pokemon with Static in your first slot of your party to increase your chance of finding an electric type. The Sync ability is if you want your shiny to have a specific nature. There is a 50% chance that a wild pokemon will have the same nature as your pokemon with Sync if it's in the first slot of your party. If you want to start chaining, I would suggest reading all the rules and tips to prevent your chain from breaking. I've put some of the better guides that I have found. If you follow these, you should be pretty successful. Youtube user z33 has caught over 800 shinies, and has some pretty good tips on how to chain on his site which should be able to help you.

You could also get a shiny via breeding. The only way to get a higher percentage of shinies from breeding is via the Musada Method, named after Junichi Masuda who posted that this method was built into the game on his blog. A lot of people don't know about this method, but it really does work. To use this method you put one pokemon in the breeding center with another pokemon that is foreign to it, such as an English Ditto with any Japanese/German/Spanish/etc. Charizard. Usually the odds are 1/8192, but using this method it will be 1/2048. It's still alot, but far better than normal. This was built in the game to encourage people to trade via GTS with other countries, and it one way to help get shinies. If you Youtube "Masuda Method", you'll find a ton of people who swear by this method and got their shiny after a few hundred eggs. Hope this helps!
