How to Access WiFi on Pokemon Diamond When The Router Is Password Protected?

So, yup-yup. I have a DS Lite and the 3 Pokemon games (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum) but mainly working on Diamond. My router, sadly, is password protected.

I was wondering if there was any, ANY way I can use the WiFi if my router has a password.

Please and thank you.How to Access WiFi on Pokemon Diamond When The Router Is Password Protected?
Just enter the password. The ds has a WiFi settings thing that supports almost anything.

And if you don't have the password ask your parents/system administrator/brother/whoever manages that sort of thing in your house. for it or log into your router from a ethernet connected computer and check the Wifi security section it should tell you the key.
Put the password in. If it's your router you should have no problem getting that. How to Access WiFi on Pokemon Diamond When The Router Is Password Protected?
Access your router home page, which is to type your IP address into the link bar and click ENTER. There you can remove your password for your wireless router.

To find your IP:

1. Start%26gt;Run%26gt;cmd

2. Type in ipconfig and hit ENTER

*BTW, from August 3, 2009 to some date, you can get Darkrai. This has to be Pokemon Platinum and have National Pokedex with giving the Lunar Wing to the kid in Canalave City. Go to game menu%26gt;mystery gift%26gt;receive gift and you have Secret Key. For more info go to projectpokemon.org
your problem could be compounded by the fact of whether or not it is in the correct type of security for the DS. It needs to be the older less secure type of security for it to work. How to Access WiFi on Pokemon Diamond When The Router Is Password Protected?
In order for the DS Lite to access a wireless router the router must either have no security or be WEP Security Enabled. If your router is using a WPA set up your DS will not be able to connect to it. (Check with whoever set up your router if you do not know how to check, ask for the SSID while you're at it if it is WEP).

If your router is WEP Enabled and you know the Password you can set it up through your DS' WFC settings,

Tap "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings" choose a connection which has not already been setup (if none, erase one you don't need)

Next tap 'Manual Setup" and tap "Edit" next to "SSID" and enter the SSID you learned earlier (The SSID is the name which has been given to your router so that it can be identified by other wireless devices)

Tap "ok" to enter it

Next tap "Edit" next to WEP and enter the WEP key. Once that's done tap "ok" and test connection, if it does not connect, make sure you are in an area where you can get a good signal and also check if you made any mistakes with the SSID or WEP key.

Note: If you need to find your WEP and have a wireless enabled Laptop you should be able to find it under the wireless networks list.

I hope that helps :)
