What are good early pokemon with chimchar in diamond?

I'm starting a new game in pokemon diamond and im choosing chimchar as my starter. what are some good pokemon to catch early in the game with him?|||starly , bidoof (it will evolve into water), roselia, shinx, and a bug pokemon








vote me best answer|||ok i picked chimchar too and i got a piplup in a trade and i caught a budew it might not be strong but if you put in turtwig he will slow you down.


And i caught a starly that way you have a fire,grass,water,and flying types and the rest of the team is up to you

I would recommend all three starters (traded or GTS) and Shinx (may be bad, but it grows good), Starly, and if you have a old GBA Leafgreen, Firered, Ruby, or Sapphire, ask someone that has Pal Park and migrate basic lv.1-10 Pokemon or think that's good so you could have a balanced team. It's not easy, but my sister has a really balanced one.|||i owuld say shinx (the pre evolution of luxray)
