How to find the speed of light through a diamond?

The questions just says "Calculate the speed of light in:

diamond (n=2.42)

That's all it says

How do I figure it out?How to find the speed of light through a diamond?
That "n" is the refractive index of diamond

The equation for the refractive index of a material is n = c / v, where v is the speed of light through the material.

So in your case:

2.42 = c/v

v = c/2.42

v = 123,881,181 m/s
