Which diamond rings are the most popular?|||That's a matter of opinion but the diamond ring I like the most is the ring my honey gave me when he asked me to marry him.|||I think that the single solitaire is probably the most popular, being the old stand-by for the iconic engagement ring, and probably always will be.
Different people have different tastes, though. For me, I don't like the look of the unadorned solitaire, and prefer accent gems and delicate filigree, so my engagement ring was much more ornate than the typical solitaire ring. My band (which I wear by itself) isn't plain, either. It's silver and gold with some fairly ornate etching. I like jewelry with lots of visual interest.|||I love a classic single round brilliant cut solitaire on a yellow gold setting. The choices of wedding bands that go with it and enhance the diamond's beauty are endless.
These days I see a lot of princess cuts set in white gold/platinum. I think that's the 'in' thing at the moment.|||In the last few years, the vast majority of brides I have worked with had 3 stone diamond rings set in either white gold or platinum such as this one:
