When i use action replay on pokemon diamond will i still be able to transfer pokemon to it from ruby?

I heard that when you use AR on pokemon diamond/pearl you won't be able to transfer pokemon from any of the GBA pokemon games. Is this true?|||That's false. You can transfer them either way.|||Thats definitely not true, i have AR and i can still transfer pokemon from emerald.
